If Hakim Warrick left Memphis, I would probably have anothr favorite team. Hoepfully he would go to Orlando or Philly.

Francis made me not like the rockets anymore and I'm not too fond of Mcgrady either.
If AI left the Sixers, I would definitely still be a Sixers fan, but I would definitely hope for AI to succeed and follow his new team as well. I'd root for them all the time, except when they play the Sixers, of course. :nasty:

When Shaq left the Lakers, I was still a Lakers fan, but I thought I was gonna be a Heat fan as well. I wouldn't root for them as much as the Lakers, but they'd be my 2nd favorite team. After about 3 or 4 games I couldn't stand the Heat or Shaq, you stay with the team, if a player stabs your franchise in the back and you're still a fan of them, you're not a true fan of your team.

Very Kobe Bryant like. I just don't like that type of personality. Dirk is much more humble.
theres a lot not to like about T-mac in Orlando they refer to him as Me-Mac, hes a very selfish arrogant player whos all about the points he puts up not the wins, he like his cousin Vince Carter also admitted to not really caring at the end of the season and didnt play to his full ability-must run in the family though Vince is much more likeable

But considering you pick teams based on players definately says something. If Francis were to join the Mavs, you wouldn't be a Mavs fan, is that my understanding?
Well, I for one would stick with the New Jersey Nets. The only way I'll stop liking them is if Vince Carter leaves, JKidd retires and RJ is traded. If either one of those players continue to play for the team, I'll root for the squad.I'm also a die hard Lakers fan. Not to the point where all I do is defend Kobe, no. I defend the Lakers' team as a whole. When Shaq left, I wasn't a big time basketball fan as I am now, so it didn't affect me. If Kobe leaves, I'll still root for the team because I live close to LA and I can either go to Clippers games or Lakers games every now and then. I like the Clips, too, so don't worry about that. I just don't like the Clips as much as the Lakers and I definitely don't like the Lakers as much as I love the New Jersey Nets.Basically, no, I would not quit on the Nets/Lakers if my favorite player from both teams left (VC & Kobe).

It would take a lot for me not to like the mavs anymore.
Pierce just signed a 3 year extension, so he can't sign anywhere else for 5 more years. But hypothetically speaking, if Paul Pierce left the Celtics I would definitely still be a huge Celtic fan. Same thing when my former favorite Celtic was dealt (Toine), I rooted for Walker like crazy, but I didn't turn into a Mavs fan. Same thing if Pierce decided to finish elsewhere. I am a Celtic fan, and I always will be one.
That'd be hard to say, but I'd probaly end up finding a new favorite team, but likely the same player.
If kobe left on good terms and didn't become an ass once he left his team would become my secondary team. If he left and became like shaq then I'd start rooting against him just like I do with shaq.

He did kind of give up, that's because the front office was making stupid moves and not putting people around him to have a competitive team. If the front office was not gonna try, why should Tracy Mcgrady try? Also there was real issues with the chemistry of the team that year, especially with Tyron Lue who kept messing up the offense and not even trying to change what he did. Also, he did care alot about winning, and tried his hardest to win. He took alot of shots, that's because it's how Doc Rivers had the offense set up in Orlando. It was set up for Mcgrady to monopolize the ball, and take a majority of the shots, as it was Orlando's best shot at winning. When Mcgrady had people out there that was good, like when Grant Hill would come in every once in a while, Mcgrady had no problem passing the ball.
If AI left I would remain a Sixers fan which I will be for life but I would hope for AI to do well and win a ring(if he already hasn't) and would watch the team more closely.

If Kobe ever went to another team..whatever team he was on would be my second favorite team BEHIND the Lakers.
Just hypotetically speaking...What if the Lakers traded Kobe and a 2nd rounder(just to make it fair) for Bell, Nash and Marion? What would you all do then? I know it wouldn't happen with Nash being so old, but just wonderin...

I couldnt imagine if J-Rich left the Warriors.....id still like the warriors just not as much as before since my fav player on the team left. I would never get over it

That trade would screw both teams up.
