Nervous. I missed his first stint because of a class, but he looks like he's just trying to get comfortable out there.
He looked fine. They drew up a couple plays for him in the beginning. It'll take a little bit, that's for sure.
Like he's ready for a bigger role. He didn't look THAT nervous. Took his shots, stayed in front of his man for the most part. Did throw a lazy cross court pass for a turnover, but that happens to everyone on the team. I think we will all be pleasantly surprised by how good his handle is. I wish Wes/Nic/Dame would get as low on their dribbles as CJ does.
Not spastic. I think that his mid-range game (based on the D-League and tonight) might be better (at least he seems more confident) than Dame's, but I haven't seen anything to show that he's close to Dame/Wes/Nic in 3pt shooting yet. Hopefully he proves me wrong by shooting 45% from 3, but I was hoping it'd be better. Then again, I think the next time Mo passes to him will be the first.
His three point shooting is his weakness right now, but I think he'll get it back with time. Right now I want to see him attack the rim anyway.
He was pretty quiet. I made a point of exclusively watching him and I think he was struggling a bit trying to fit into the flow, sorta roaming the perimeter. Nothing startling at all, since we're a team of beautifully defined roles and he'll find his eventually. It looks like there shouldn't be a problem finding him 15 minutes a night, the rotation wasn't really upset at all.
Great take as usual, man, but what's up with the Mo hate on the game thread? He is one of my favorite players and now he wants out...
Looked very comfortable out there. Mo ignored him mostly though. As was said, he had a bad pass, but he hit a shot off a screen and had a nice layup at the end when we were running away with the game. The biggest development is that he played as much as he did. It looks like he will be a regular part of the rotation.
Yeah he looks like he will help. I think he and Mo will compliment each other. Neither are true PG's but together off the bench I think it will work. But considering he is a rookie, it will take a while for him to get comfortable. Especially with limited minutes/shots.
That last play of his where he was dribbling to shoot the three was nice. He has some good good dribbling skills.
He was quicker than I thought. Once he shakes all the rust off he has the type of game that will help this team majorly.
I dont think he did he anything to stick out. Good or bad. I think he will have a bigger role as time goes on. Which is good because I think he can score the ball. Which is needed off the bench.
