Good we needed a good tongue lashing. Wev played the last few games like we just assumed we had some magical switch we could flip on and suddenly we come back and win. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
This here is why I liked that early 90's team so well. They pretty much came out to play game in and game out. If they didn't it was due to fatigue. There is just way too much pacing and coasting now a days and not enough ' 'playing'.
Agreed. Our winning and ability to play lockdown defense 3 of the 48 minutes went to our heads. We shouldn't be losing games to being out worked but we were. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Those early 90's teams were AWFUL in the second quarter. And they played some dumb basketball in the fourth.
They also never seems to win in Utah or Denver. And it often was a blow out. No doubt they were a better team than this one, as by then the starters had a little more experience. (And they played great D) But they did not always show up for every game. Few teams do.
And Sacto in Arco. Pencilled in a loss there every time. BTW, found a video of Stotts's halftime speech:

Good stuff, they were playing like they needed a kick in the ass, last 3 games wasn't the same team, we didn't have that look, I lost interest in watching games because of them but second half of Orlando game got me interested again.
