Maybe PHX starts the tank now (most of us thought they would tank for the beginning but they proved to be too good)?

Or they trade for a stop-gag.

Damn. This could be Phoenix's one way trip out of the playoff race.

If there was an issue with his knee, and surgery was determined to be the best choice, and on a scale of 1-100, 1 is 'don't need surgery' and 100 is 'absolutely must have surgery', I bet this is like a 20 or 30.

It might be the time to grab Channing on the very cheap too.

So many injuries this year. Sad.

They have been winning without him. Dragic could be an all star this year. It's not just us he has been destroying.
But yeah this does hurt the Suns

What a weird year to be a Blazers fan when they're playing well and injury-free. The ghosts of Oden, Bowie and Roy's injuries are everywhere.

Channing would be so good for Portland. He such an improved post defender and really solid. Oh, and he shoots the 3 well. ;)

I still think the Suns have a better shot of making the playoffs than Portland did last season, which was still up in the air till the injuries caught up with the team and the Tank for CJ ensued.

Ya like Frye is going to help out defense.

That's too bad, I really like watching him play.

Love Frye but he is still pretty expensive and doesn't play very good defense but if the asking price were like Wright+Claver/Barton I wouldn't say no.

My biggest question with the Suns is the futures of Plumlee and Len. They aren't going to keep both long term.

How do you guys feel about Chris Kaman? I think he's a guy that would resign here and wouldn't commend big money.

I think Joel is a better defender as he is more active. He also gets to more lose balls. I love Joel's hustle.

Is Kayman better than Leonard this year? Yes . But he has not been happy not playing with the Lakers. Not sure he would stick around here if he was 3rd string. Plus Leonard could be better then him by next year.

This sounds like a Spurs when The Admiral got hurt, and next year drafting Tim Duncan.

A guy like Chris Kaman could help in the playoffs.

Bullshit. The player and doctors are going to do what they think gives him the best long term chance of recovery. There is no recreational knee surgery.

perimeter D is the problem. And I don't think Channing's D is any worse than Freeland, Leonard, or Robinson.

I think I'd rather have Watson as a 15th man.
