Good lord. Does that mean the offense is going to be Evans and Davis? They will have no outside game what so ever.
The way that teams going, and his injury record... knock on wood nothing happens to him either. (not wishing ill will to him, just wtf has happened to the Pelicans)
This is getting ridiculous. Reminds me so much of our 09-10 season. I feel bad for the pelicans m Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Word is they are shopping him I think. I say the Pelicans go full tank mode now and get a top 10 pick. They are a lot like us last year in that they have a lot of good pieces that are young without enough help. Add a 2014 draft pick and another year of development to Davis and they could be scary next year. I know they wanted it this year but this could work out in their favor in the long run.
Without Holiday or Anderson I don't think need to go tank mode. They will already be crappy enough to tank.
You know there is an outside chance that the basketball gods have decided to make up for all the fucking injuries they bestowed upon the Blazers since 1977 and are evening up the score all in one season. We will know for sure when during the all star game Durant and James collide in mid air and fall on Roy Hibbert knocking them all out for the season. Stay clear of them LaMarcus.
They owe their pick to Philly. It's top 5 protected. With how bad the east is, I have a hard time seeing how they can tank hard enough to keep their pick.
You are right, Ouch! They should made that top 10 this year then dropped it to top 5 later. That could really come back to bite them. In other news, Philly is going to be tough next year..... or maybe the year after that.
I think, in order to be the next level team, they need to trade Turner. He's a scorer, yes, but he's ineffiecent and streaky. But, I do agree, that team will be a force in a couple years if all goes well.
The Stampede may lose the league's best player, Lucky Pierre. http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=marc-stein&id=1132&src=desktop This Insider article looks good (I don't get Insider): http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=nbarumors&id=20709
He is a good player. He deserves a shot. Obviously he isn't going to help much on the Defensive side of the ball though.
When the Pelicans give up on a trade, they'll decide to get Lucky. It will take a couple of years to sandpaper the rough edges, like Nate Robinson. This may force the Stampede to call McCallum.
