I hope I'm not coming off like Jaynes, I love the team, love Stotts coaching but do think we could upgrade the defensive assistant position....how's that? Now I'll stop. :) conjunctions for conjunctions sake

Top 12 would be great, again. Top 10 even better... but that takes some changes... but we'd be unstoppable. A new coach + bench inside presence (which is hard to find anywhere) would be ideal.

I agree, funny thing is that two of our best defenders are completely out of the rotation on the bench. Victor Claver is a very smart defensive player as is Earl Watson.

Stotts is very offensive minded, obviously. BUT, he has been known this year to give people chances (That's the great thing about having a cushion in the beginning of the year... you can tinker). Trob lost his spot 'cause Meyers was doing well in practice... then TRob earned it back. Perhaps Claver can get some minutes if he shows even more determination. If I'm thinking correctly, though, CJ is ahead of him on the depth chart... So, Claver moved up to 3rd string? heh.

Watson is a tough call. He showed in that Golden State game that he can come in cold as hell and lock down a great player. Trouble is, we aren't closing them down beforehand, so he's not getting any burn. This is why I think it's going to have to be a trade to get a defensive minded person that's already proven he can be a 7th/8th man... However, the rotation is slowly getting set back in stone again... so it'd either have to be fast or we'd have to falter... hopefully not the latter.
