I was a big proponent of drafting CJ, and that was assuming he may only be a SG off the bench. Maybe he can start one day, but I definitely think he and Dame will play well together. The Blazers will still need a big SG as well, but CJ would still get 25 minutes per game.

McCollum seems to have the type of maturity that Lillard had last year. I don't want to get too excited yet, but he has looked promising in his first two games.

I see a much larger version of Jason Terry still without the dbag attitude.

BGD is banned from anything CJ.

He's been on a CJ hate-a-thon since this summer.

Hey, you're copying my act. Only thing you left out was, he won't take Mo's job in his rookie year.

Down the road I could see a 3 guard lineup of Lillard/Crabbe + CJ off the bench. All 3 are very good fits for Stotts system.

I'm very excited about CJs future, but yes I watched his second Idaho game and he didn't play well until the end.

Place 100% of the blame on 'the HCP' for the jinx.

Why are you hating on the rookie?

You realize that a guy like Mo, who is 31 and a former All-Star, has a higher set of expectations placed on him? CJ is a lottery pick and a damn talented player, so yes we have high expectations for him too, but people have been slowly getting more and more frustrated with Mo and Wright as the season has gone on.

I was under the impression that he wasn't hating on CJ, but rather was poking fun at the eventual bipolar swing most current CJ lovers will go through the first time CJ doesn't appear to walk on water. It's a good point HCP makes, we all tend to flip flop more than the footwear by the same name when it comes to extreme opinions of players from game to game

BINGO! The rook gets me! Everybody in here are nut jobs. Let the kid play 25 games to make a judgement on him.

Sounds like the voice of reason, but really is overblown. We don't need to watch 25 NBA games to figure out Wiggins is going to be good. Ditto for lots of players including CJ. The rookie class themselves thought CJ had the biggest chance to win ROY even though he was selected by a team for which he wouldn't start. There is plenty of reason to be excited about CJ, especially now that we know he is being added to a top 5 team.
