Legit or smoke? "If you called the Pelicans, the Cavs or any of those teams and offered this year’s first pick for their guy, they’d fall over laughing,” says a Western Conference personnel guy." http://www.forbes.com/sites/markhei...ggins-and-entire-class-of-14-arent-that-good/
Watching my first Kansas game against a good Iowa St. team. Embiid looks legit. Wiggins is pretty far off. Pretty terrible defender and shooter at this stage.
Noah Vonleh looks nice. If we can buy or trade into the 20's in this draft we could get a good player. Deepest draft in years.
Kentucky @ Arkansas game was incredible. Randle is great, and the Portis kid on Arkansas looks like he can play in the NBA.
There are always and have always been guys with a major hype train. Weeding these guys out with the mandatory 1 year of college will do wonders for the league.
It seems like there's one every year, last year it was Shabazz. He's now Luke Babbitting it up in the D League.
Mohammed sucks. I always thought he sucked though. Wiggins will be good. He'll be a Harrison Barnes or a little better.
I just scheduled my wisdom teeth being removed for Wed 3/19. Got Thurs and Fri off and will be balling on my pain meds, with some weed, ice cream, and fucking basketball MADNESS all day for four straight days.
I'm still scratching my head over the players selected in the last draft. The #1 pick Anthony Bennett. is barely getting 10MPG scoring just 2 PPG on 26% shooting. Otto Porter also barely plays. Same can be said for guys like Alex Len (7MPG), Tony Mitchell (3MPG). Cody Zeller (17MPG) averaging 5PPG. Guys like McLemore, Pope & Larkin are busts, Adams barely gets any minutes at all & the #6 pick Neriens Noel (76ers) hasn't played a game yet The only guys I see making any contributions are Victor Oladipo with the Magic (32MPG & 13.8PPG) And Michael Carter Williams averaging 17.4 / 5.6, & 6.7 APG. Though they're only shooting around 40%. I hope in next years draft we have more players that can contribute a crap load better then these guys.
I think Len, Adams and Noel will all be good once they have a few years under their belt. Could be like the 2008 draft where the big men took a few years to develop before we saw how good it was
Re: OT: anybody else watching Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins on ESPN right now? Must Draft Olymyk, er, Williams.
