My second sig I made

This is the second sig I have ever made. My goal is to make the GFX team by the end of the school year. I can only get better.My sig:Comment and Tips please?

 

Well, if you are going to go with that kind of theme for the BG and border then the pic needs to follow the pattern. Make the pic more blurry or just blend it in. Make it look more cartoony.

 

How do I make it cartoony?I have another question. I see alot of people putting a logo as the background. How do you do that?

Man, what program do you use? To make a graphics team your going to have to really improve.

I use Photoshop 7.0. I know I have to get better but it's just my second sig. I have a long way to go before the end of the school year. Right now I'm just trying to learn from every sig I make and also reading tutorials.

Download various brushes and mess around with them, you'll have much better bg's if you do that.Look at some pic effect tutorials, they will help as well
