I thought Rudy Fernandez would be a game changer. I still do. :MARIS61:

 

I think he was a game changer.... until Ariza broke him.

 

I thought there was no way Oden would still be drawing a paycheck in the NBA in 2014. Oops!

 

I wanted Barnes and Marshall in the 2012 draft.

 

I was wrong about thinking this team could win 55 games. They will be heading to the 59-62 win mark this season… <-- Shun the disbeliever!

I was also very wrong about Batum. The dude has become what everyone said he would. So glad I was wrong about screaming about that 11 mil per contract.

I was wrong about Lillard. I was against the signing because I wanted Drummond so badly.

I was wrong about Matthews. I really thought his heart wasn't in the team. He is the heart of this team!

 

LMAO!

 

I thought we'd get the 3rd seed but it's likely now that we could get the #1 seed.

 

It thought Martell Webster would be a dark horse All-Star candidate by his fifth year in the league.

I thought Oden was the right pick. May still be, as it turns out, but not for the reason I believed at the time of that draft.

 

I was wrong thinking that Paul Allen would hold out forever against commercialism in naming the Rose Garden Moda Center.

However, I must pat myself on the back. I was miraculously close in thinking that if he did, he'd name it the Oden Center.

 

I was going with the Rhoda Center.

This is so true his cold shooting and terrible defense cost us a good many playoff games so thank you Ariza

 

I didn't want Jordan or Bowie. I wanted Barkley. (Better, but still wrong.)

I thought Damon would be a very good PG.

I though it was a good move to sign Detlef in.

I thought we had a 5 year window of playing in the finals when we drafted Oden.

I once thought it was possible to be a Blazers fan and have a Lakers fan as a friend.

I was wrong about Victor Claver, I figured he'd be solid in the rotation and making his jump shots.

 

Hey, me too!

Of course, if the Blazers had picked heads like I said, the question would have been moot.

 

When I look back, it's hard to see what I wasn't wrong about.

I suck at prognosticating.

 

I thought Viktor Khryapa was our future at SF.

 

I thought Sheed would spend his whole career here and win multiple rings before hangin' his jersey in the rafters and eventually becoming the head coach.
