LOL. If they're down, they'll go all-out poppin' pills.

As to Brian's point.... It's already been shot down, but I'd like to add that Seattle has looked far more vulnerable the second half of the season than they looked the first half.

And to show how meaningless the prior games were, I offer the Saints games. The Saints were never in the game last time the teams played. They made a game of it this past week.

I'm not sure who will win, though I tend to agree overall with the oddsmakers. That being said, these teams are quite different since, what was it, week 2?

Stopping Russell Wilson isn't the key to beating Seattle

As someone who doesn't really go to many NFL forums, I have to ask this question.

Are 49er fans always this arrogant? I swear, it's like reading posts from a Laker fan on the old ESPN boards.

I bet you feel right at home amongst all the arrogance. Amiright?

You have noticed that all the Seahawks fans feel like they have this one in the bag, while the Niners fans are pretty much on the fence and think it'll be a dog fight, right?

    49erswebzone.com

The absolute worst team site on the internet. Fans are the worst.

I've actually noticed the opposite, with Laker, er, 49er fans talking about Seahag fans not being able to talk, win a title then talk, etc. etc. What I don't understand is how a Blazer fan would pull out the tradition card when most Blazer fans are sick of hearing from bandwagon Laker fans.

Hasn't it been 20 years since the 49ers won a title? At least the Lakers have actually won titles this century.

The Niners are a storied franchise with a rich history. And now we're back and one of the elite teams (last 3 years). The Seahawks have nothing, really, except now they are also an elite team.

It's not like the Niners fans on this board were actively bashing the Seahawks. The Hawks fans have been yapping. Niners fans mostly have given the Hawks props. Hawks fans have mostly bashed the Niners. I mean, when the Celtics hadn't won anything in years, as a Blazers fan, it's not like I'd pretend that the Blazers had a better, more meaningful history. Being the sports fan you are, I'd think you'd understand that.

So yeah, I'm not sure why you're confused. The fans doing the talking are fans of a team that ain't done shit.

I've seen you doing a lot of talking, though. I'm confused. Eh, whatever. I'm looking forward to the best conference championship Sunday that I can remember in years. Any of the 4 teams yields a great Super Bowl, and Seattle, San Francisco, and New England have former Duck players who can all make a difference in the Super Bowl. I'll be pulling for the winner of SF/SEA to win the Super Bowl, for sure.

I dunno. I guess I don't understand the blind arrogance of a team's fan base when the team hasn't accomplished anything.

I get tired of the Blazers fans that talk shit when we've really done little. When people here get cocky about the Blazers' start, that doesn't rub on you?

It's a Blazer board, so not really. Frankly, I've seen very few posters outside of KingSpeed and Mags who are cocky, and I think with both of them, it's part of their shtick. The NegaBlazers do drive me nuts at times, though, simply because it's just nonstop with them, and the goofy and juvenile nicknames such as "Assclown" and "Leonar_" are just beaten to death.

Mostly in retort. I've given the Hawks props, too.

But cheers, I'm looking forward to both championship games this weekend. It's what playoff football should be. Tough, competitive games with the best teams battling for every inch.

It's been so long since the Raiders even played in the playoffs, I forget what it's like as a fan. My brother and I both whiffed on tickets this morning, so we'll be watching the game in Bellevue at his place while entertaining the kids as the wives go shopping.

I imagine tickets were gone in moments.

What's going on with the Raiders QB situation, anyway? Is Pryor expected back?

At this point I'm hoping Johnny Football, because at least then the losing will be entertaining.

The Raiders are a moribund franchise, and until Mark Davis gets his nose out of things, they will continue to not only flounder, but do so in a boring manner.

Dennis Allen isn't a NFL head coach. How he's survived two 4-win seasons baffles me. The guy had one year as a defensive coordinator, had zero HC experience, yet he's the guy.

He even looks like a pussy. I can't imagine how the players can respect him at this point.

    LOL on Allen. Totally agree.

Johnny Football is starting to get the pro hype. I'm curious to see if it's legitimately founded. A guy like Manziel could ignite some life into any franchise he goes to, at least initially. He's a pretty polarizing figure. I personally hope he makes it and shuts up the doubters.
