He also voted to bann the 100 watt light bulb. That be pretty dumb, as if there needed to be another.
I hope, for the sake of the crowd, that you are more articulate when you speak than when you write. barfo
Why don't you do some research for us. See if you can prove this guy wrong. "Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts. Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion. A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child." On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts." I rest my case. Time for another beer."

Oregon has tipped. No Republican stands a chance. It doesn't matter who the Democrats run, Oregonians are on autopilot. They'll just vote the party line.
I've posted this before, but for me the tipping point was the Clinton impeachment. Prior to that, I'd voted for a fair number of Republicans, including both Plywood and Hatfield. At that time, I wrote to Sen. Smith to say that if he voted for conviction, I wouldn't support Republicans anymore. He did, and I haven't. Not that I've really been much tempted by the likes of Sizemore and Dudley... the Oregon Republican party has made it a pretty easy promise to keep. barfo
