What about testimony from the other players that accepted their suspensions? Now that he's suing the union, all bets are off. And to quote Rush...

All a judge has to do, if a judge even wants to deny this, all a judge has to do is say, "Well, Mr. Rodriguez, I don't see anywhere here a denial. You say that you've never failed a drug test. I don't see a denial here. I need you to swear, I need you to sign a sworn affidavit that you never took any of these drugs." And he can't do that because then he opens himself up to perjury and the Martha Stewart result.

This attack the system and fog reality strategy just isn't thought all they way through. He's gonna talk himself into criminal charges, and that is exactly the end game the Yanx want.

How badly does Cash man want to walk around the office wearing an "I fuckin' told you!" T-shirt?

Statement of MLBPA executive director Tony Clark regarding lawsuit filed against MLBPA by Alex Rodriguez
    MLBPA/MLB News Release
NEW YORK -- Major League Baseball Players Association executive director Tony Clark today issued the following statement regarding the lawsuit filed by Alex Rodriguez against the MLBPA:

"It is unfortunate that Alex Rodriguez has chosen to sue the Players Association. His claim is completely without merit, and we will aggressively defend ourselves and our members from these baseless charges.
"The Players Association has vigorously defended Mr. Rodriguez's rights throughout the Biogenesis investigation, and indeed throughout his career. Mr. Rodriguez's allegation that the Association has failed to fairly represent him is outrageous, and his gratuitous attacks on our former executive director, Michael Weiner, are inexcusable. When all is said and done, I am confident the Players Association will prevail."

Apparently Alex never heard the phrase "don't shit where you eat". Or more appropriately, he's gone full retard.

It's interesting to me that the only entity (aside from the Yankees) that he hasn't sued is Tony Bosch. You would think he'd been the first law suit filed. That one would at least likely go to trial, which may be the reason he hasn't done it because he wants to avoid the witness stand. These others have a very low chance of getting anywhere other than the medical one for his hip which probably won't include PED's being allowed in the discussion.

MLB radio guys had a good point this morning--how long before he sues his lawyers for not adequately representing him and giving him bad advice (like no defense in the hearing)?

I hope he does a suit a day and depletes as much of his fortune as he can. Yankees figure they have all year to watch a-clown continue to selfdestruct before they have to make a decision to cut him

...I'm still holding on to my dream of ARod ending up broke and in jail and sharing a cell with a skinhead named Butch.

I'm waiting for A-rod to be in a press conference and start rolling the marbles ala Capt. Queeg. Only a matter of time before he claims insanity and gets rest of his money from insurance disability. And after watching how he's been going about all this who the hell could doubt he's insane.

    well played.

Why is it that the only person he isn't suing is his drug dealer?
