That's a major chore for this group. As are most things.

The sentiment was echoed before the nine game homestand. Win at home and get some breathing room from this battle of mediocrity in the metro division... they will most likely continue to plod along as a .500 team putting it together some nights and laying eggs the others. Sucks because they will probably miss the playoffs but only barely and pick in the 10-14 range.

For this Ranger [forgettable] season, there is no such thing as home ice advantage.
    Nuff said.

Here we go again... 7 of next 8 at home before we head into the stadium series. IF they go 6-2 they are in a much better place.

"Nothing comes easy for this team on home ice". Those
last two minutes vs Dallas at home, the puck stayed in
the Ranger end, with not one Ranger player able to score
with an empty net. The Ranger players looked like
chickens without their heads....flailing all over the ice
with no control of the puck and not being able to force
the puck into the opponent's end of the ice.
    This has got to change.

Dumb not using Kreider and MZA right away on a 4/4. I like AV but i dont get that. Richards and Stepan are like snails crawling through peanut butter out there.

Richards sucks beyond belief, 4 on 4's. I have no idea what Av's fascination with him is. Brassard has figured out how to take faceoffs. He's up to 49% which is great news. Stepan still sucks ass at faceoffs at a pathetic 44%. Scratching Miller is just dumb. Carcillo is a moron.

The Rangers are sending JT Miller to Hartford so that he can play on Saturday and Sunday for the Wolf Pack. (Rangers)

The Wolf Pack play the AHL Penguins on Saturday and the Sound Tigers on Sunday.

The Wolf Pack lost 3-1 to the AHL Sharks tonight.

On MSG, Dave Maloney said that Miller is not a fourth line player and that going to Hartford should benefit him.

They have yo-yo-d Miller beyond belief this season. Bottom line is that Kristo sucks in the AHL without Miller because the Whale suck without Miller. If they are going to play that reject Carcillo, then leave Miller all season with Kristo in the AHL in hopes they can play next year together at the NHL level. I see Carcillo as a complete waste. He's dumb. Can't play defense. Can't score. Can't take on heavyweight goons. Basically, he's useless which is why Sather likes him.

Miller should play in top 9 otherwise he is wasted. Next year with Mr. Richards bought out and Boyle not resigned you've got two spots open. Miller should be able to crack the top 9. Lindberg should be the fourth line center next year, I hope.

Don't be surprised if Boyle is brought back. Now that he has a coach who is actually using him correctly he's playing pretty well. Every game where this team has a lead late, the 3 forwards on the ice are Stepan, Callahan, and .....Boyle. He's also been good on the kill and in the circle. It's Dom Moore who 100% won't be back, not Boyle. Lindberg can take Moore's spot on the 4th.

I guess Boomer and Carton were talking about the Rangers getting Klein. That would be nice. A right handed defenseman with some size and physical game. Have no idea what they would want in return. No way I'd give up Miller for him.

He is signed to a nice contract. Under 3 million for the next few years. Money matches up well with Girardi or MDZ right now. I assume if they got Klien, Girardi would be out at the deadline.

I would not mind bringing Boyle back with reasonable contract over Moore. As long as AV uses him on the fourth line strictly. If Boyle wants more than 2 he can go somewhere else.

Getting Carcillo is beyond dumb...a waste. Putting JT in Hartford
is ridiculous. That team is hopelessly lost. Let him learn with
    the Rangers.

    against Rangers?

I think the Rangers are going to wipe the floor with the Flyers in MSG. I get Flyers games where I am. I have no idea how they have been winning because their defenseman are AHL crap.

Three times (only 3 X) the Rangers have amassed(lol) 3 game
winning streaks and in each instance that 4th game was at home.........
a 2-1 loss to Anaheim, a 3-2 loss to New Jersey, and today a
    2-1 loss to Tampa.

    Shows several things:

Team can't string several victories in a row.
One & two goal losses at home are too consistent.(11 of them).
These players do not know how to finish.
Good goalies get in their heads.
No one on this team can consistently lead with key goals.

Another thing it shows: Stepan sucks ass and is hurting the effectiveness of the team.

Bingo. I expect a crap year once in a while from a player like MDZ, Boyle or Dorsett. Not from Stepan. Asswipe was more concerned about his contract that getting ready for the season. It's obvious like I said before. He's not even close to being in physical shape.
