    Here is this comment:
Tacopina also made news on Tuesday by telling ESPN radio’s Colin Cowherd that Rodriguez had acknowledged his own steroid use during his tenure with the Texas Rangers, unlike many players, including one who is “God-like” in Boston

Wouldn't it be great that through all this garbage comes the transparency of all the former juicers including the "God Like" guy in Boston. As a fan, these guys shouldn't be able to make millions and enjoy the privileged of notoriety that they benefit from by being a cheater.

It would nice if some of the current champions- across all sports- would be exposed and vilified in the same way that Arod has been, it's a joke that Alex has been the focus of such hate by fans when their team that just won the Superbowl, WS, Stanley Cup, etc probably has cheaters on the roster, and only a fool thinks otherwise.

...what are you talking about?...why should anyone be villified more than ARod?....he brought ALL of this on himself...and he deserves every bit of the hate he's getting.

I didn't say anything about more than, the same way would be fine with me, Arod has been a nobody for years now, who cares that he's cheating? talk about it back when he was good, how about a current player that matters getting exposed?

Didn't they do that with Braun who was coming off a MVP season.

...unlike ARod, Braun took his medicine...and the two are not even comparable.

Nobody compares to Arod, no one player has made more money in the history of the sport. However taking out a reigning MVP I think is a response to Rusty's statement. Of course I would love to see Ortiz and the likes thrown into what we all know but have not heard from MLB that he and others of that period were PED violators.

... hopefully they eventually make the penalties even more severe, but until the owners stop rewarding these cheats by giving them new contracts with raises, there will still be a risk/reward factor that will never go away.

According to what I heard on "Hot Stove" yesterday A-rod has made over 350 million in his career. Then the a@@hole turns on the very union that helped him get that money then supported his rights to a hearing. His recent actions will benefit the Yankees & MLB. Had he accepted his fate and took his lumps he'd still be around an become and increasingly heavy "load.

he took over the mantle (no pun intended) from Bonds as the most hated player by both the media and the public for chasing history while cheating. he deserves as much negative attention as possible

Boy does anybody think someday someone "accidentally" lets that list out of the 100 something odd players names who tested positive in early 2000's. Thats the one I can't wait to see

Ortiz has done PEDs and most likely continues to do them. Like many have said the tests are pretty easy to beat and the labs are always well ahead of the testing.

...now he's claiming he was not talking about Papi...?...really?

...lol...yeah, sure...Tacopina is about as credible as ARod.

Wow....ARod must be a cheap bastard. He low balled his drug dealer, and this knuckle dragger of an attorney must be bottle shelf. If he wants to win, go buy a Gloria Alred.

David Ortiz has got to be the best hitter who has seen the least amount of "high and tight" fastballs of all time.

I'm still waiting for someone (pitcher) to drill this crab-face fat basterd with a HARD ONE.
He likes to disarm the opposition with his nice happy-guy routine.

And the pitchers continue to kiss his butt......
They must be scared shit-less of him....instead of finding out what he's really made of.
I'd love to see how this guy would handle good consistent INSIDE pitching.
