    His skills/talent have never been that of a 1st line center, but nothing wrong with having him as your #2. Problem is, acquiring a 1st line center, or even another 2nd liner, is expensive.

    That's what happens when you listen to your greedy agent. Dubinsky did the same shit and sucked after holding out constantly.

    constantly? and not for nothing neither held out, their contract was up...holding out is sitting out while under contract looking for a better deal

    The first time he was offered a pay cut and 2 way contract after being Jagr's center. The 2nd time there was no issue at all. Sather left both he and Cally for the end. Both signed rather quickly around the same time and for similar money, once Sather got around to it.

    Enough on Dubi. If he is so great let's just sign him after next year.
