Eastern conference, short remaining road trips, few remaining back to backs, undisclosed cash payments to Stern and refs.
Dude, look at the standings in the east. It's hilarious. http://www.nba.com/standings/team_record_comparison/conferenceNew_Std_Cnf.html?ls=iref:nba:gnav 1. Indy - 30-7 2. Miami - 27-10 ________________ 3. Toronto - 19-17 4. ATL - 20-18 ________________ 5. Washington - 17-19 6. Chicago - 17-19 ________________ 7. Detroit - 16-22 8. Charlotte - 16-23 The 8th best team in the east is the same team we just plastered for another record night. There are only two good teams in the east, Indy and Miami. Can you imagine if we played all those teams three or four times a season?
Its kind of funny how the rest of the way every team in the west has a harder schedule then every team in the east.
I get that part of it. So I guess if they have played a fair amount of decent western teams and really bad eastern teams and more eastern conference games left then that could account for it.
Lakers have the 7th toughest schedule to date and the 3rd toughest schedule going forward. Stern up to his old tricks . . .
East is a joke, you have to grade that conference on a ridiculous generous curve. I don't even think Miami and Indiana should be compared to the West this season. They play JV teams a majority of the year.
This was glaring. Had I not read the title, I would thought they were ranking who was the better teams, and then though, Indiana "might" be better than a few teams out west. lol
I guess all those people saying we had a relatively easy schedule to start the season weren't complete idiots then
