What happened to the A-Train?

Anthony Thomas just seemed to disappear after playing for the Bears...Where'd he go?

 

I know he was on the Cowboys roster during the preseason, but I don't remember if it was this year or last year. Then he was cut, and I don't know where he is right now...

 

He was signed by the Bills and gets only a few carries behind McGahee. He had a lot of promise and never really panned out. Parcells got sick of him.

 

I just know he was great at U of M, and was a pretty nice Bear running back.

 

Yeah, after his first year, he was a big let down. He's stuck backing up with Lionel Gates now in Buffalo, still gets a couple carries here and there.

 

He's sucking it up in Buffalo. he's not getting hardly any carries behind McGahee, and when he does its like for one yard. he did have a nice 18 yard run for a TD week 1 vs New England but since than hasn't done sh*t.

 

I think he will get another chance around the nfl. Alot of teams are using a two back punch now.

 

I don't know, Buffalo is like playing in NFL Europe, if you can't produce there you're probably not any good.

 

Well, looks like the A-Train is finally getting his chance this season. This week McGahee was out with a broken rib and he filled in to rush for 95 yards off of only 20 carries and got himself a TD. Not bad and it's looking like he's gonna get another crack as the starter this week as well.
