Well if this great matchup was on ESPN you wouldn't have to worry!

I hate that about league pass, don't understand the need to block out NBA TV games? Or at least offer a broadband version of NBATV? It's like voting for Tuesday NBATV fan night game is pointless since all it does is blackout the winning game from league pass broadband..

Though tomorrow's game is on ESPN, and it would have def been better to have Port - SAS instead.. I mean cmon, the top two record teams in the West going at it.. oh well

We're on a ESPN tomorrow? NBA Gametime says the OKC/GS game is the ESPN game.

The only thing that would make the LA/NY game more entertaining would be a massive mid-court Melo/Griffin collision.

It's not just hometown bias. San Antonio and Portland are the top two teams in the West. The Clippers are good, but the Knicks, despite some recent wins, are a team with a losing record.

Of course, anything can happen in real life, but theoretically at least a game between top two teams would likely be more riveting than a game between one good and one crappy team. IMHO, the only compelling reason to show Clippers/Knicks on national TV is their home cities. If teams with equal records from Sacramento and Cleveland, say, were playing, the game would not be nationally televised.

I wonder if the NBA will ever go to regional games like the NFL does.
