help please

I need some help. I tried downloading Better Basketball: Better Handling from the link that Tony provided here in the Hangout, but every time I extract it with WinRAR (the file is a .rar file), it converts it to a .avi file and windows media player says it won't open it for some reason. Is there any way I can make it so that WinRAR extracts it to a .wmv or something?

Usually downloading the latest divx codec works. Try that, and as for changing .avi to .wmv, there are programs if you search on google that can do those. It won't work in your case as the .avi is not working.

Yeah VLC can play anything and everything - thats all I use for that kind of thing.

 

RAR is a compression format, the file was originally an .AVI before it was compressed into a RAR, so you can only extract it as that.

 

I reccomend better basketball: better shooting. it's a great video.
