Magical stuff! 30 wins before the halfway mark.

Now If Terry S. can keep them working to improve, improve, more efficient.
Damn! The finish to this season will be fun.

Missed the game. Had a Varsity Girls at Milwaukie HS. I just saw that Pop got tossed!!! Over a flop?? Wow. You have to do a lot to get tossed out of an NBA game as a coach. I saw the replay and he must have been cussing that official out!

Wow... After the blocked shot Lopez has on a Ginobili drive, referee Bill "shit-for-brains" Kennedy told an objecting Stotts, "We can't get them all right." I think getting half of them right in the 2nd half would have been asking too much.

Pops knows what he is doing. He got tossed on purpose. Strategy almost worked, should have waited a little longer.

Portland 19-20 from the FT line. The Schonz is smiling.

It's funny, I was at no time worried that the Blazers might lose this game. It's just that kind of season.

I was a bit when Manu's end of third prayer was answered... But we hang tough.

I have to say the Indy win was the most impressive. Paul George was lights out from three and they were all playing at a very high level. I haven't seen execution, defense, shot making as good as we saw that night from a Blazers opponent. Somehow we still won.

Is there any question on who is best in the west?

    2-0 against OKC

    2-0 against SA

The last victories against both teams were statement games. SA wanted this one and I have to believe OKC wanted theirs. Portland is an awesome club.

5-0 against the top 3 teams in the league. How many teams have ever been able to say that half way through a season? I think everyone needs to face it, this team is for real. It doesn't mean the Blazers will win in the playoffs, I mean the west is insane and you have to take the field over any single team. But it means the Blazers will have a realistic chance of winning a series against any team.

Heck the Spurs are 1-8 against the top 5 teams. I'd rather have a few hickups againts the celler dwellers like we did the other week but beat the elite teams. You don't want to be a team like the Spurs that mops up against tankers and losses most of their games against the elite. Its been 7 years since the current Spurs core won their finals. I have a lot of respect for that organization and Duncan, but they got extremely lucky in the playoffs last year.

Westbrook was injured, the Lakers couldn't put it together with their stars who got hurt; Houston, the Clips, Warriors and our Blazers all were building young teams that hadn't peaked. The Spurs are reliable; they will always play at a good level, but I don't think they have the potential to elevate to another gear and that will prevent them from having any realistic chance at the finals again.

Has there ever been a more obvious 8 vs 5 game? The Spurs were passing the ball to the refs.

Spurs leaned on the refs a bit too much. lol I guess catching passes is where they drew the line.

    LaMarcus is the man.

Just think if Roy and Oden panned out. He would have been a hell of a third option on a championship team. In the same breath as James Worthy, Kevin McHale, Elgin Baylor. He has proven to me this year he is a legit one. And I never looked at him that way.

I'm just super proud of the growth he has shown this year. The LaMarshmallow tag can and should be swept under the rug. I think he can lead this team a to a second title and I would have never thought that.
