I certainly hope so. If they do that then I might come around on LMA.
Nic seems like he'd be the sort of guy to accept less on his 2nd FA contract, IF we're competing for championships at the time the contract is negotiated. And as long as it's still north of $10M/year.
I'm not sure about LMA. If he does it would definitely make me like him more.
I expect Dame will want a max extension for his first contract. Hopefully if we're playing well by the time his second contract comes around he'd follow in the footsteps of his elders.
I like the fact that they're talking about it, because that means that the topic of pay will come up and they should all (hopefully) realize that they'll all be better off by sacrificing a few million dollars.

Keeping the starting 5 together is the recipe for a dynasty!

    LMA doesn't fit into Lillard's or Batum's window. ;)

It would be terrific news if all three decide to become a Spur-like core for the next 8 years.

The Spurs don't really have anyone like Nic though. If anyone is like Manu, it's probably Wes. I wish Wes was as good at driving though. Manu is annoyingly good at finishing at the rim.

Wes is hot as hell on the post-up though which makes up for it.

Yeah, I don't think Manu has a post-up game to speak of.

Sure just look at the late 80s early 90s Blazers. That was a real dynasty!

The most successful period since 1977. Win or not, it was way closer to a dynasty than 1978-1988, or 1993-2012 ever produced.

I didn't literally mean exactly like the Spurs in terms of play. I meant three very good to great players willing to stay together for a long period of time. I think Lillard has more potential to be a great PG than Parker, and while LMA will never be Tim Duncan, he's a pretty good version of a poor man's prime Duncan.

Batum is glue, as is Ginobli.
