2-0 so far on this trip is beyond anything I expected. The goal should be 4-0 now, but 3-1, or even 2-2 with close games, is a plus for this team. Take one out of the next two, and this team goes on a big roll.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip With their performance thus far, I'd honestly be shocked if they don't go 4-0. They have a swagger, and Imo have shown they are the better team. Still, Harden has been difficult for our guys as has Durant.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip I bet after the refs have tried like hell to fuck up our swag the last two games, that Harden will go north of 20 FTA's Monday.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip We're 3-0 so far on this road trip with win against the Spurs, Mavs and refs.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip So, if the Blazers come out of this 3-1, what should be the expectations before the All-Star break? Their SOS goes down significantly after this trip. Is 39-14 unreasonable at the AS break? I don't think so, looking at the schedule.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip I'm greedy; I want to match last season's win total before losing 10 games.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip Hell yeah, I like that thought! Enjoy it while we can. I'm a bit sad that some posters seem to be dwelling on negative things, but why not enjoy this ride right now???
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip This is what I'm thinking... but damn, that means going 4-0 on this trip. #Topofthewesternconferenceproblems
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip I was hoping for 2-2, so we've already accomplished that. At this point, I think 3-1 is totally achievable. Houston looks very beatable, unless the refs decide to give Harden 30 FTA.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip After such a good start, going 2-2 now would be a bit of a disappointment. I think Houston is the more winnable game just because they haven't been playing as well as the Thunder (even without Westbrook) and the OKC game is the 4th in 5 nights while they catch Houston after a night off. Also, Beverly is still out for Houston and while not a huge offensive threat, has given Dame fits on the defensive end.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip I was shocked we beat San Antonio and Dallas away in back to back nights. This team has surprised me over and over. I think they just focus on one game at a time. Me? I am accustomed to thinking .500 on the road is fine... but we are already 10 games above .500 on the road! I don't want to jinx anything with even trying to predict the future... I am just enjoying one game at a time, and this season is sure turning into something special so far.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip Beverly is supposed to return on Monday, in time for the Blazers game.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip I hate Houston and their collection of refs. We usually play OKC pretty well, so I think the 1 loss could be on Monday.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip Join Date -2009 Posts- 57 And you made THIS your 57th? Interesting to me what brings people out to post and what doesn't. Not that Dame and LA are taking over the league, but to inform us the some random guy on another team has returned. Not cracking on you man, just your ratio is interesting.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip That was a useful post, so his ratio of useful posts is much higher than yours. At worst, his ratio is 1/57. Yours is something like 1/10,000
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip three nerds with almost 110K posts combined between the three of them. Quick, tie their hands together, they're gonna rumble!
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip Whatever noob. You don't even have half my posts, so clearly my epeen is bigger than yours.
Re: So, About that Midwest Rhomboid Trip well, that is probably true. My imaginary girlfriend is better looking than your real fiance tho! So suck it!
