Naw...I don't believe that. He's a great coach. For three quarters his team wore his personality. They just couldn't close the deal.

It's amazing that he hung on to the ball.

He seems like Andy Reid to me, and he's blowing having the best defense in the NFL since the Ravens in 2000.

I wonder what Kap saw on that last throw. Crabtree was not even remotely open, a jump ball in the endzone into double coverage is a recipe for disaster. That's the way the game of football goes though, it comes down to one play.

Hard to win a playoff game when you commit 3 straight turnovers.

We need a Richard Sherman/Jim Harpants mash-up. Time to bring mash-ups back!

It was a back-shoulder throw into man coverage. Granted, it's against the best CB in the league on the most pivotal play of the game, but the throw was pretty good. Sherman made an outstanding play.

Yup. I'm sure some fans will point to the blown call on roughing the kicker, which is true, but you can't turn the ball over three times in a row and expect to win. Kaep shit the bed when the team needed him most.

I thought the game was extremely respectful until the end when Sherman went full douche-mode. I respect the hell out of Wilson, but Sherman is a piece of shit.

I was for the Seahawks the whole game, but I was actually hoping they weren't going to score on the next play. If they did, this game would have had a totally different feel to it (would have been all about that wrong call)

Oh Jesus, Bowman had to have tore some ligaments there! They've gotten really good at rehabbing players though. Man, the NFL is a rough sport. One play and there goes your season, at least in the NBA the playoffs are a series. You wait so long for your team to reach the top and shoot for a title then they blow it with one play....you only get so many shots then you have to rebuild.

This. Even a FG would've changed the game.

I thought it was a good pass but Sherman made an outstanding play on that ball. If he half a step behind that is a touchdown.

There was some bullshit PF's called on the niners secondary, but it didn't affect the game too much. The the botched call on the Bowman recovery actually turned out in the niners favor. The biggest killer was that 4th and 7 strike downfield for the TD. I really thought the 49ers were going to pull out some late game magic as they marched down the field. 3 straight years exiting in the final 4.

I mentioned Theisman because of how gruesome it was and they kept replaying it, but the injury looks more like a Livingston type injury. Complete tear of ACL, MCL and major cartilage damage is my guess.

Seahawks fans threw food at Bowman on his way out.

    https://twitter.com/greggrosenthal/status/425091656350580736

Seattle fans are the worst in pro sports. Completely classless, self-absorbed shitbags. I don't think I've ever seen a fanbase worship themselves like the "12th man" in Seattle with the flags and the jerseys and the rituals.

Throw food on a guy that just tore his knee apart while he's being carted off the field? If you identify with this classless group of fans, you should seriously reconsider your association.
