    Close played college ball with one of the Asst GM of the west coast team, I forget which one. So If I played in college with a guy, I would think we're pretty close. Could have been the Angels

    Look, we need the guy. It's a major hole and it's a risk, but one that I feel fits the need. As far as criticism is concern, one of the greatest compliments I can give this organization is that they are always trying. Living in South Florida and watching what the fans of the Marlins for example, and what they go through, is painful.
