You think everybody is trolling you. Have you ever thought maybe you are the real issue? You've been infesting this board with your obnoxious babble from the onset. Tone it down a little bit, love.

    Anyways...

The only thing I could think of while Paul Allen was on the podium yesterday was how he has to be the most awkward owner in sports when it comes to celebratory speeches. You could tell that Pete was looking in thinking oh no, whats he gonna say.....?

Paul is a basketball guy, you can tell.

We are? I personally would be fine never hearing another player speak. Most of them are idiots and those that aren't are no more interesting than the average twenty-something millionaire-next-door.

In general, and I think the demand is reflected in the amount of coverage and reporters in locker rooms. It's not an indictment of any one individual who doesn't care to read or hear players comments. To each their own. And, where is this posh neighborhood you live in with 20 year-old millionaires? I would be interested in what they have to say too, while the fam and I were chillin' on their private yacht of course.

P.S. Your posts are getting longer and you seem more confident typing the English language. Denny would be proud.

Do you need to personally attack everyone?

I think it is just the people with minds of their own who happened to disagree with something she posts.

Could be menopause too my grandma for years would lash out at everyone, can't say I blame her though, I would be a little moody if I went from freezing to having heat stroke in a manner of five minutes.

I was at an intersection two days ago in Denver and when the guy to my right went through the stop sign, a huge cloud of smoke came from his partially open driver's side window. I muttered to myself, "I really hope that's cigarette smoke". However, when I drove through the intersection a few seconds later, I was enveloped with the skunky smell of my youth.

Fuck, do I need to get out of this state.

    Repped!

Sherman may have overdone it a little, but that is only due to being in the moment and emotions were (understandably) high. No hate for the guy.

Kinda torn about this Super Bowl. The Seahawks have always been my #2 team (Steelers Fan!), but also a big fan of Peyton Manning.

Would love to see Seattle win it all though, so........GO SEAHAWKS!

    Repped, Blazer Fanatic.

I think the best comment, and unfortunately I can't remember who said it, was something like "can't grown men get concussions and broken legs without being distracted by trash talk"?

Funny, where the outrage is. And some of the replies to Sherman were sickening.

The bolded statement is sadly, far too true. One thing that really bugged me was the day before MLK day, the first and most prominent comment from around the interwebs was a bunch of knee-jerk racist comments. If it had been a white guy saying all that, the reaction wouldn't have been, "OMGZ that redneck cracker trash!!!"

I think a lot of folks' reactions to his statement was grounded not in the message, or the circumstance, but rather in some form of underlying prejudice that far too many people are programmed by their upbringing to believe.

Let's be honest. People felt that way before Sherman ever said a word. Just watch someone make a mean spirited comment about one of my post. It's about being made to feel inferior by someone they feel they are better than. They sit at home in front of their TV or computer mumbling, "I'm better than him/her... (but he/she gets more attention, makes more money than me, is better looking...) and it makes me really angry!"

Nate, you are a moderator, I'd prefer you PM me if you are concerned with my comment or leave it to SPD to use his more nuanced discretion. Responding as you did gives permission to the intellectually adolescent to pile on and do the very thing to me that you are explicitly accusing me of. If that doesn't work for you:

Attaching a detailed explanation to every GD joke is awesome. Unbelievable.

Honestly, what do they expect when they pull a football player fresh off the field who is high on adrenalin and just made THE play to send his team to the Superbowl? Erin Andrews chin started bleeding, cause Sherman hugged her and busted it with his pads. Why aren't we all upset about violence against women? lol
