From a non-fantasy prospective, who would you guys take? Larry Johnson has age and unlimited potential. I would take LT though because do just about everything like run pass catch (LJ can catch also tho). He's really balanced and always seems to start out very strong and sometimes ends on a weaker note, but still in the end, I'll take LT.
At first I though LJ was Lamont Jordan... Anyways, I'll give it to L.T. They are actually pretty close players, and Larry Johnson surprised everyone. I can't say much more then you said with who you'd pick. Although I wouldnt care which one to have on my team... they are both freakishly talented.Ladanian Tomlinson!
LaDainian Tomlinson, he's always in top shape, he's a leader, he's got some of the best hands at the RB position you'll ever see, takes it inside and out. Larry Johnson is a great back but I think the offensive line helps him more than people think. His numbers are down a lot this season.
Yeah, Chiefs O-Line is a big part of LJ's success. You can see after the losses of Waters (was it?), Roaf, and even Tony Richardson, he's struggled some thus far. Now in LT's situation, he's stuck with a below average line, that he really makes look good. Also, he's the better reciever and has a bit more to his step. I could only imagine what LT could do in LJ's position.
LT. If he had the blocking that Shaun Alexander had last year, he would have had the rushing title - not Alexander. He is the most skilled RB in the league.
Definitely the most skilled. I mean he's the best rusher to me, and plus he can catch very well for a RB... I mean if you've got those what more do you need?
With the Chiefs O-Line last season, anyone could have ran all the yards Larry did. Look at how much success Priest Holmes had ( not to say he was bad or anything). Plus, they also lost Dick Vermeil who was more of an offensive minded coach.BCB, I believe last season or the season before LT was suffering from an injury, don't really remember exactly what it was but I do remember it came late in the season when they needed him. Hes not always in tip-top shape.LT also threw 3 TD's last season I believe :shok:

I'd take LaDainian Tomlinson any day of the week. Larry Johnson had so much blocking for him in Kansas City the past two years it wasn't even funny. Now, he's not doin too much this year and I'm not so surprised. Don't get me wrong -- LJ is a great back; but this is LJ versus LT. I'll take LT by far, with no limits, just because like someone else said..he can run the ball for 100 yards, score you touchdowns, and even catch it. 'Sounds a little like Marshall Faulk, huh?

I gotta go with that texas boi L.T. he's a monster, and he's been a monster his whole career....he can catch, throw, block, he's durible, he's missed one game in his career and that was in 04....last year he was banged up and still played pretty good.....there is no back in this league that I'll take over him........lj is badass too, but like some of y'all said, the line they had last year was awesome
