http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/427...rship_from_usc/ Are you kidding me? The kid is 14, and he may be good, but he hasn't even played a high school game, and he already has a basketball scholarship lined up? That's just unbelievably retarded. I hope this kid blows up and goes somewhere else, just to shove it into the face of the USA brass that they shouldn't offer a player a scholarship 4 years before he's eligable to play for you. Anyone else see this as wrong?
It happens to alot of players. Nice Wise (a pg in Texas) just graduated and he had a verbal commitment to Arizona as a freshman. I dont view it as that big of a deal.

Dude was ranked the best freshman PG in the state, and one of the top freshman PGs in the country back then... crazy.
I hope this 14 year old injures himself and he cant play basketball anymore because that's just retarted. I'm 14 years old and nobody my age should even be thinking about college yet. Especially not accept a scholarship yet.

If you were in his position you would go without thinking about it.
I respect the kid. He's finding a way to become a professional basketball player. Obviously, he must be beyond talented for receiving a scholarship so easily.
