Looks like the Bulls felt they had no choice. James played an 8 minute stretch for us and then could not play for days after. That's what happens when you're 38 years old and hardly play. DJ is in for some long big minutes.

 

At the tender age of 36, James averaged 16 points and 9 assists per 36 for these here Bulls. Those are downright Augustin-like numbers. If he can just channel that dynamism from his "youth," this could be a very special night.

This was after the triple OT game against the Pellicants.

James played 9:52 and couldn't go the next day.

 

He's had all this time to rest. He'll be fine.

I may be of the minority here, but James can give us what Kirk did. Poor shooting, dribbling the ball a hell of a lot. That being said DJ will play more minutes, as he should have with a healthy Hinrich.

 

A dogfight contested by real dogs. Too close to call.

 

Just heard that Boozer won't be playing tonight either. Might need Augustin and James to combine for 40+.
