Holy shit this is just unbelievable, its like one against the world. Brian I'm trying to be as kind as I possibly can. And we BOTH know that if you weren't a Seattle fan you'd be agreeing with everyone else here. But since you are a Seattle fan you'll never admit to that. But as my FINAL word on this topic let me just say this in response to your homerism post above.

    #1 Not saying He's a thug Brian
for scaring Andrews, We're saying he BEHAVED like a thug for his out of control rant, basically calling out Crabtree to a fight on national television. This would be considered by EVERYONE but you as UN-PROFESSIONAL.

#2 It was NEVER proven that he said "Good game" but I'll be more then happy to apologize if you can supply a link with the sound bite of him saying that. Because if you can't then it was NOT proven.

and #3 making the choke sign is something an immature grade schooler would do. ORRRR, someone without class.

I'll wait for that sound bite where Sherman said to Crabtree "nice game". I mean if he was miked up it had to be heard by someone. And I'm sure you wouldn't have said he said it unless you had proof.

Brian, we're all still waiting for that sound bite where you claim the mic'd up Sherman said to Crabtree...."GOOD GAME". Otherwise my friend, you've proved NOTHING!

Not even close to hate speech... the choke sign, the I'm gonna shut you up comment... wasn't quite exemplary of someone full of class. I don't doubt that he's had great moments... BUT, he clearly lost control in that interview and by doing the choke sign...

He said "good game" and got dissed... ok... doesn't exactly warrant the choke sign or clearly losing control...

ok, so he was amped, but in a good way before the on-air interview began... and once the cameras started rolling he was like that???? doesn't that say something? like it wasn't more losing control than thuggish tactics?

In that moment I don't think an opponent is interested in shaking hands. Sherman should've celebrated with this team and went to the sidelines. Then when the team meets on the field again perhaps offer the good game handshake.

Seriously extending your hand after trash talking back and forth all game and after patting his backside...is not good sportsmanship. If there was ever a real life sarcastic sign one could hold up like Wylie E Coyote did with the road runner...that would have been the perfect time.

Can't really blame him, it was the meth talking, he just snorted a huge line at halftime

And seriously, he came out and apologized, so that means he did nothing wrong in the first place

I don't dispute that he was disrespected on the field... But that isn't an excuse for him losing control...

Ditto. Acting like a raving lunatic during his interview with Andrews & basically looking for a fight with Crabtree was juvenile as was his choke gesture toward the 49er bench.

its funny to me how much coverage this is getting, front page of cnn, they are really trying to reign this in, but i think the ship has sailed. the narrative went from, "he's muhammad ali!" to " hes really, REALLY sorry!" in 24 hours

"i made a mistake,, i used poor judgement, i apologize, etc"...yet there were people here and all over saying "wow what a grand entertainer! he did nothing wrong! what a neat fellow!" shows how blind to reality people are when they want to be

when was the last time i guy made a game winning play, and then jumped around giving the choke sign to the opposing team? and saying "the other players sucked!" seriously, i dont care how much money you give to compton soup kitchens, youre a shitbird forever in my eyes.

end of the day, i dont know him and who cares really, do what you want, when you want, just ease up on the "judge him off the field" nonsense
