Kobe has no business whatsoever playing in this game. He has played in SIX GAMES all year. He needs to do the right thing and step aside, but I'm sure he'll say something about "the fans wanting him there" or some bullshit. What a chode. I think CP3 would have sat it out if he was voted in by the fans, but since he didn't make the cut I think he'll want to get on the team via the coaches. I wonder if the coaches will be reluctant to put him on until they know for sure that he'll be healthy.
Odds are presumably still long, but I think Love beating out Howard actually gives Lillard at least a prayer against Harden. Needs to score 50 tonight : )
Joe Freeman @BlazerFreeman 4m Charles Barkley on Western Conference All-Star results: "LaMarcus Aldridge should have been a starter."
All the TNT guys have both Lillard and LMA making it, along with Dwight Howard. Kenny Smith didn't have Harden, but just added him. The final 3 spots are up for grabs, according to these guys.
The sad thing is that I think Dame is outplaying Parker. They're pretty close in terms of numbers, but I would give Dame the edge. If his assists were up a little more, I don't think there would be any question.
Oh no, I completely agree with you. I just don't know if Dame makes it... I'm a tad worried given the starters.
I guess we'll see. Even if he doesn't make it, I foresee many A* appearances for Dame in the future. It's not that big of a deal. He deserves to make the team, but he'll have plenty to keep him busy that weekend. I think he should definitely be in the three point contest, as well as the Sophomore/rookie game and the skills challenge.
Love is not an all star starter. Kobe obviously isn't, and Griffin is not an all star starter. Love is not even on a .500 team, and just isn't that good. Griffin should be an ALL STAR, but not a starter. Kobe shouldn't be there at all.
