From the 9:20 mark of the 4th quarter, the only person on the court in a blazer uniform that scored points was LaMarcus Aldridge.

I was a couple of rows directly behind Reggie Miller, I was surprised how few people were yelling during the game in the lower bowl 100 level.

I also saw Billy Dee Williams at the game.

I refer you to the "Shaq MVP thread" post two for my response to your assertion about MVP status. I know you don't like actual discussion so I won't repeat myself in multiple threads.
And I (unlike you) stand by every stat and assertion I posted.

Since I posted that, he has had 3 straight games of doing what I've posted since May for him to do (move inside for at least half of his shots). His career-best game tonight was a great example. More than half his shots in the paint, averaging 53% on them (50% on his jumpers) and gathering 15FTs. When he maintains a 70/30 jumper-to-paint shot percentage or less, he averages 5 FTA per game. So yes, if he had maintained what he'd been doing up to our discussion

I've said for 3 years (I know you haven't been around to get the benefit of it) that if LMA reduced the amount of 16-23 foot jumpers (especially contested ones) to just the level that the next-highest volume jumpshooter was and just went to the paint a few times more times a game, he would help the team out a lot by getting position for offensive rebounds, higher FG%, more FTs, etc. Today was a validation of that. If he'd have been at his previously-normal 70-30 (21 jumpers to 8 paint shots) level, the percentages of his shots show that he likely would've missed out on around 1 extra made bucket and 3-5 FTs (depending on how many times you think he would've been fouled on a Jumper) and one less ORB. Aside from nothing else, those 4-6 points would've made the game a lot more likely to lose. Which is why I was advocating for it even while you were saying "25.1 ppg" and "30-9". Because team wins correlate very strongly to offensive efficiency, and just because we're ranked the highest, doesn't mean we can't be better. If LMA doesn't go inside today, and we don't get those extra 4-6 points (even on the same number of shots), then we are in danger of losing by a point or two. Just like CLE or MIA. But LMA would've had 38 or so points and 12 boards and people would be saying that he played a great game. As I've shown (and said all along), he has the ability and tools to be greater than a poor-man's Dirk.

Would you care to explain why you think Durant doesn't deserve the MVP more than LMA, or are you just going to cherry pick facts? LMA played an awesome game tonight. Maybe the best of his career. I loved it, and have been hoping to see it since Feb 2011. That doesn't disguise the fact that it was against a non-playoff team, with a (Nic partially excluded) a completely healthy team. KD just put up 46 on us, in a win against a "Contender", missing his buddy the All-Star Westbrook---and that wasn't even his best game this week. KD is averaging 31 a game on 19 shots. I mean, you like the counting stats, and I think they don't tell very much of the story, but even you can see that KD's counting stats are higher than LMA's, right? On a team with a better record and more injuries, right? Do you just not care about other players playing MVP-level basketball? Or am I still Copernicus daring to say that the sun doesn't revolve around the earth?

Congratulations. I hope you have better luck keeping your seats in the playoffs than many in my section did.
