For anyone that has seen the add for this Credit Karma .com where they advertise that you can check your credit for FREE is total bullshit.

After filling out a LOT of information they do give you your score & ask for a small processing fee of $1.00 payable by credit card. Which I did. that was about 10 days ago. Well, I received a charge on my credit card for $29.95

It seems that somewhere there was a fine print (which I didn't see) that if you don't want to continue this service you must notify SCORE SENSE within one week otherwise you will be billed for continued services.

I'm currently fighting to have the monies put back on my credit card. Just thought I'd give you guys the HEADS UP.

Thanks for that tip, just checked with the squeeze who had mentioned Credit Karma to me and she did use it probably about the same time you did. Read your post and she'll be checking.

And you're right. I always tell everyone that NOTHING is for free. And I fall for this shit.

...rick, the strange thing about it is that though I have seen/heard the ads about that site, I'm surprised that their scam has not gone viral yet.

It's amazing they do the exact same thing they claim the other sites do.

Yeah & the amazing thing is that they all seem to get away with that fine print that no one could see unless you're really looking for it. And THAT'S! the way they all get you.
