He might not be by himself but he is good enough that if we include some other guys like Robinson/Leonard/Wright/Crabbe/future picks we could get a significant piece back.

Too bad Wright fell on his face after tripping over that bar...

Would Denver have any interest in a guy like C.J.+ and could the Blazers get Kenneth Faried? http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine

    easy,
portland gets kosta koufos, memphis get t-rob. this trade would make our defense some much better.

other trade-portland gets Frye, and phoenix get mo and freeland. this trade would make our defense and 3-point shooting so much better
    pg-damian, cj, watson
    sg-welsey,barton, crabbe
    sf-batum,wright,claver
    pf-aldridge,frye,leonard
    c-lopez, koufos, leonard
this lineup would make our team better and cj is a way better defender then mo

I don't think Phoenix gives up Frye for that package. He is a key piece of their lineup

How does Frye replacing Freeland make our defense better? I don't think Frye is bad, but I'd see this as a lateral move defensively. And then we don't have anyone semi-reliable to handle the ball off the bench. You're shipping out two rotation players for one, so we then have to go deeper into our current bench to make up for the missing rotational player.
Also, we don't need more 3-point shooting - we have enough. We need to diversify rather than put all our eggs in one basket.

You aren't going to tell us Garcia is the missing piece now are you?

Why do you think other teams want to get rid of some of their players? To upgrade. Very rare that a trade upgrades both teams.

Teams don't always want to trade to upgrade though. a player might not fit in one teams system but could thrive in another. He might be a malcontent in the locker room and they are tired of the headaches. They might be rebuilding and want to get bad fast so they aren't looking for talent for talent. They might want to tweak their financials to put them in a better spot this summer or next. Maybe they don't want a guy with a player option. There's all kinds of reasons

Sure but in half or so of those cases we also wouldn't want that player.

It was most a comment about Garcia. Would we want him? Would they take Wright? If not then not seeing it.

    You also said:
I was responding more to that part than the Garcia part.

:confused:Rondo is being shipped pretty hard. I wonder how good of a backcourt Rondo and Lillard would be?

I think it would be amazing. We've seen how successful the Dragic/Bledsoe pairing is in Phoenix as well as how well Dame plays off the ball. I would be all for it. What would it take to get Rondo? CJ+some of Robinson/Leonard would at least get the conversation started I'd imagine. Maybe CJ+Wes. I know Boston won't give him away. I'd do it but it would really hurt to see Wes go.

I would love to get MKG from Charlotte. I think he is a future DPOY. I know he can't shoot but this team has enough weapons to help hide him offensively while allowing him to do what he does best.
