This is absurd

    This is absurd on many levels...
    1, the coach is suing one of the players he coached at the time it happened,
    2, the coach is in a vocation known for being fairly well off and yet is suing for more than $600,000 for pain/suffering, lost wages, medical expenses, etc.,
    3, the kid was 14,
    4, there was no ill-intent and would be extremely hard to prove even if there was,
    5, the helmet was thrown straight up in the air in a frickin' celebration and supposedly severed his Achilles tendon...

    Just absurd

    And he says he'll just "drop it" if the kid apologizes... but for what? I'm sorry you got hurt? What good will that do?

    The coach is an asshole. In addition, I guess the attorney feels as if the 14 year old would say he was sorry, would the court take that as admission of wrong doing. The coach has no clue.
