No suprise, these were no doubt the two least talented players on the roster. I'm glad we FINALLY made some cuts though, after 5 whole games in preseason. I think O has it on lock, I think Powe pretty much has it on lock as well. I think this last spot will be battled out between Luke Jackson and Allan Ray, and to tell you the truth I have no idea who will get the nod. Ray has played well except for the last two games. That performance in New York hurt his chances real bad, but we'll see if he can bounce back. As for Jackson, we have only seen about 15 minutes of him, I would like to see more. But the time he has been in he's 3-3 from downtown and he hustled.

This is going to be interesting to see between Ray and Jackson.

Don't know much about Akingbala, but Pittsnogle is just a big set up on the perimeter who can shoot the ball. He cant do much else, so Im not surprised that he didnt make the team with probably the most depth in the NBA.He may be picked up by another team looking for a shooting big man.

I'm sorry, but we have the most depth in the NBA? :HAHAHA: We have the most depth of unproven youngsters with potential, yeah. But the most depth as of right now? As a huge Celtics fan I have to laugh at that one.

Thank god Rondo, Powe are making the team. Allen Ray is cool and all, but I'd rather see Jackson play for the Celtics then Ray.

You honestly have to be a complete idiot if you think Rajon Rondo wasn't going to make this team. WTF?

take it easy cb. you don't have to insult someone everytime you don't agree with them. it wasn't an idiotic statement to say that he was glad rondo made the team. he never said he ever had any doubts.but yeah, this was expected. I mean, neither of them played at all, they obviously weren't part of the teams plans.

Hopefully this ends any speculation that Pittsnogle has a future in the NBA.

Sorry, but come on. You cant argue that the way he said it read it like he thought there was a possibility of him not making it.

Not a big shocker at all here, us celtics fans knew this was coming for months. Pittsnoggle is a poor man's raef lafrentz at best and I don't even know what to call Akingbala. Ray will probably the final cut.
