We did do an amnesty just a few months ago. Mixum, OIG and PapaG were all unbanned. (PapaG was posting under a different moniker, all we did is give him use of his PapaG moniker back. So he was banned from using PapaG but not banned from posting in the forum.) Mixum and OIG immediately continued with the behavior that got them banned in the first place so within a short time we just ended up banning them again. Unbanning the Timberwolf trolls would not be good for our members. Opening a thread at work and suddenly there is a picture of a giant cock could get someone fired.

I am curious how long you have a been a Mod? A member since 2006 but only barely 100 posts? I know it is more about quality then quantity but dang that seems low. Did you take a extensive break at some point?
Please do not speak for me. That's inaccurate at best. I joined about 4 weeks ago and applied for a moderator position. When i joined, i had a different name. I requested a name change to the one i have now, but it was already taken, so TrueBlue had my account merged with the other, since it's owner hadn't used it since 2006.
Nevermind, KeepOnRollin. We have a Stage 5 basement-dweller. He does not understand sarcasm without green font, nor does he appear to have a sense of humor.
What you don't seem to understand is that not everyone can tell when someone is being sarcastic or not. There are plenty of other people, besides myself, that would take your remark seriously.
You jumped into all of this. We're all of, what, 30 posts in on this thread, and you're missing humor and sarcasm all over the place. I mean, what else could my comment have otherwise been? Follow along. I'm pretty sure at least 96% of posters on the Blazers board (maybe 99% of those who have been with S2 over a year) would have recognized the sarcasm, especially in light of recent events. All of this thread is really part of the BF banning thread. My comment, as well as a few others, are totally based on comments in that other thread.
I don't want to speak for Maxie but I believe it to be ok when moron status is clearly established within a paragraph or two. That is just me. Anyone can do it if they feel it worth the punishment it might bring.
This. We unbanned everyone a few months ago and they immediately or nearly immediately returned to their poor behavior. You guys make it out like we have just been banning left and right. We've banned something like six people..... ever. Mixum OdenIsGod PapaG BenDavis PDXCass and now Blazer Fanatic. Since you pretty much spear headed the effort to get Cass out of here, I would think you would understand that one Max.
