That there just sounds boring when you could be at a game.

But I do the same thing, too, when I can't be at a game. And maybe move a TV outside or bring a tablet out and watch mlbtv.com.

A baseball game doesn't help much with the boredom factor.

I forgot you're old, so I should have been thinking about PLAYING the sport, which I was. There are four parks in Tualatin with basketball and baseball courts.. And that way you can actually do something instead of just sit around.

Even if I was rich, I wouldn't waste money on a baseball game.. Sitting around drinking beer and eating hot dogs that cost 3x too much.. No thanks. Like BBert said, I can do that anywhere, for cheaper, with better activities to accompany it.

Baseball is an art, kind of a chess game if you will. Very few people who haven't played it at a decently high level never understand how to appreciate it.

Nah, I actually enjoy the ambiance at baseball games. Used to go to the occasional single A game in Eugene when I was in college.

You can get into strategy when you sit next to the infield. The outfield stands are there for drinking. Even binoculars don't help.

Well said! Baseball is a pure sport as are basketball and tennis. Offense, defense, great sports. I started with baseball and love it to this day. (except that stupid conference where the pitchers don't bat!)
