Both have drawn unfair comparrisons to Shaq. Whie the Shaq comparisons may be wrong, both players could become dominant forces in the NBA someday. So, who do you think will be more dominant?Harrison: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/david_harrison/index.htmlBynum: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/andrew_bynum/index.html
I'll be a Laker fan and say Bynum, I mean look at the kid. Height/size wise he's perfect for his position. And he's only what? 18 years old? That's ridiculous to be so young and being trained by one of the best senters ever - Kareem Abdul Jabar. I'll admit the Shaq comparison is stupid and premature, but that's something to look forward to. Remember, he's young and gifted and has the best training you can get.Harrison - well maybe it's unfair because I havent seen much of him but I doubt he's getting it as good as Bynum is
I haven't seen Harrison. Bynum owned for me on NBA live so I'll take him ahahah.Shaq comparisons are stupid. No-one has a mouth that big.hahaha
I take Bynum because of his youth, and potential. Harrison also has some potential, and he's got some great size, but I'm not sure if he can put it together and get some good minutes in Indiana. Since neither has really played alot, I'll take Bynum only because of his age and future..
I like both of them, and both of them have a good amount of potential. Harrison is the better player now, but considering both of them are only ready for clean-up minutes, I am going to have to say Bynum based on potential. I think Harrison is going to be a guy that is in a rotation and a boarderline starter. I think if Bynum continues to work and improve, he will be a definite starter and possibly a top 10 center in the league in his prime. He's got the size, and even now he can score, but he is still very raw. I am a big fan of Harrison's toughness though, but sometimes he gets out of hand and fouls too much. Both have a lot to learn and both have a long way to go, but based on potential here, I gotta go with Bynum.
These two being compared to Shaq is by far the worse comparison of all time...I'll still go with Bynum, though. He's dominated games before, such as the Lakers v.s Knicks when Bynum didn't miss a single shot. I thought that was pretty tite. The Lakers won by 33 points or so that night.
Um, nobody has EVER compared David Harrison to Shaquille O'Neal...Not when he was in college or during the draft process...He's just a backup center at best, his small hands hurt him a lot. Andrew Bynum has not played enough for me to give a valid opinion.
David Harrison looks good defensively. He's a good rebounder, defender, shot blocker. I dont know how Bynum will develop so it's hard to say.
Bynum has his time to shine with Kwame and Mihm injured. IF he doesn't step his sh*t up. this guy sucks and u all mainly lakers fans should give up on him. That last preseason game against suns last night. He put up some good stats.. but I have to see more before I determine in the long run. As said before David Harrison is good and is very good defensively and could cause some damage if he steps up. Just gotta wait and see. He is a big body that should really start for indiana instead of foster. He was very impressive when the pacers fought DETROIT and he ended up as a starter.David Harrison so far.

He's a kid who's playing in a man's league and that is no easy task. I can't believe anyone would say something like that. :shok:
No1's mentioned the fact that Bynum is a punk..... he's got great hands and good size but attittude plays a huge part in the development process.....I'm gonna take Harrison, I've seen him more and I really like the way he looks on the low post, I think he'll be what Olowokandi should have been, a great low post player that will eat up rebounds and put backs
im the impatient type. but since I only went by my knowledge of him being young.. I would guess you are right. Because I didnt know he was that young.
By the look of Bynum last night (not that I am basing this strictly off of one game) and by seeing Harrison play as well I would say that considering youth I take Bynum. He is pretty athletic and looks to be very strong down low, and with him only being 18 he has plenty of time to become a good center in the NBA.
Harrison Who? :HAHAHA: Bynum I think with no question I think this kid shoud be starting every game I can't wait until he get's a full season of starting. I think working with Jabar is going to help him a lot. This kid has a hook shot also.
Andrew Bynum is better. He's very young and is going to dominate in a few years when he's developed. Both of them are great shot blockers. But the overall better player would have to be bynum.
