    The Raps played bad and were 5 vs 8 for most of the game but they mounted a comeback until the refs finally put the game away.

    If the ref believes that Lowry put both of his legs out to draw contact he must be some kind of idiot. That's not what guys like Paul Pierce do. They put one leg out. Lowry's legs were that way because he was moving full speed and fading. To make the call the way he did is at best incompetent and at worst devious.

    51 FTs what the heck. That's also a horrible horrible call, his leg does come out at the end but its not in an attempt to make contact with the defender.

    So instead of a possible four point play for the Raps the ref disallows the field goal and gives Lowry a tech for... running back to the bench in order to avoid a confrontation. We swing from as much as +4 to -1 and the game is well and truly over. Well, fuck me.

    There was a stretch in the first quarter where it seemed like the Raps were getting called for a foul on every possession for both teams.

    The Raps deserved to lose the game based on their play alone. The Kings dominated the paint and the Raps had no answers. The fact that the Raps mounted any kind of comeback with the way the game was going and the officiating being what it was is just remarkable. I don't know what the lead official's name is but he knew what he was doing when he made that call plus the tech on Lowry--he was ending the game early.

    If Lowry had gone full Noah there I could see him being ejected but I guess he's supposed to stay still and keep his mouth shut when he's being violated by that ref.
