Playoff seeding question

    So, for the Blazers, given that OKC is 3.5 games ahead of everyone else in the West... if they can't catch the Thunder in the standings, the best the team can do is 4th? Home court vs. the 5th seed? And if they win that series, a 2nd round date with the Thunder?

    Shitty luck.

    I don't think so. If I'm reading it correctly, that is.

    The 1-8 seedings is regardless of divisional rankings. Essentially, if the top 4 teams came out of the Pacific Division, they'd all have HCA.

    The 1-8 seedings are just based on record, period.

    Again, this is if I'm reading it correctly... it's 1:45 am, so it could be likely I'm not.

    This isn't the NFL. Only benefit to winning a division is you won't be a 6th seed.
