I get money put onto my season ticket card for paying in full every year. Every game I check to see if there is anything worth buying with my 20% discount and have found nothing. They have had a couple of season ticket holder events that offered deeper discounts, but still overspent for a jacket for my son and I. That said, the TV deals are an absolute joke. It was only last year the team was offering real deals every game. I think everyone shakes their head when they have that crap advertised. They should make McGowan do the voice. I have no problem with the other ways the team has increased revenue over selling tickets/merch/naming rights in volume though.
I could care less. Even when it was Rice's ridiculous deals they were so high priced. The price is what is ridiculous. Just scrap it all together until they can actually have a true deal.
At least with Rice it was entertaining while he was trying to put some lipstick on that pig. I agree with the OP that the current ad campaign is a complete and boring fail, and not just because of the prices.
I would love to see it back. There are never good deals on the current promotion. I bought a cool all-black T-shirt with the pinwheel in raised velvet kind of stuff for $ 14.99 on Rice's ridiculous deal and there hasn't been anything like that this year.
They need to make some bad ass rip city t-shirts for $10 without a giant wells Fargo shit all over it. They'd sell them like crazy
