I retract my previous statement. I would've done the same thing! Apparently the guy wasn't just heckling, he crossed the line -- he called Marcus the n-word. Not to turn this into a political thread but Orr is a staunch republican. #ColorMeShocked
The guy is known as a SUPER FAN. A super fan of a game that is played by players that are 80+% black. Just something to think about. Also if you look at the video there's a woman of color standing directly behind the fan & she appears to have no reaction at all. I would think that if the fan actually did use a racial slur that you would have seen SOME type of reaction from her. Also you need to remember that this is not the 1st time Marcus has gone over board with his emotions.
Seems like an excuse made by Smart to try and explain his bad behavior last week. Did the chair he kicked earlier in the week call him the "n-word," too?

I'm not an expert lip reader but the fan seems like he is saying "Sorry about that" before Smart pushes him.

And like I said there was NO! reaction from the fans around him. And keep in mind that this is not the 1st time that Marcus has behaved like an idiot.
I just thought of another possibility. Maybe Smart did hear someone call him the n word, but it wasn't that guy. And in the heat of the moment he just lashed out at the guy that was yelling at him when he turned around.
Also a possibility. Or maybe like someone else said here maybe Smart is just trying to justify his actions by making shit up. Who knows?

Smart retracted his claim of the N-word, and the fan and those around him say he never said that word. Seems like a super asshole post for believing Marcus Smart when he was lying.
