Assuming the Bucks won't give up Larry Sanders, how about getting Ilyasova and Pachulia? I'd actually like Caron Butler as well/instead of Ilyasova, but he's only on a one year deal so they're probably happy to keep him (unless he screams to get out - but given all the stuff he said about "coming home" that would be awkward). Ilyasova was looking very good on a better Bucks team and Pachulia is a surprisingly decent backup center. You've got to think both would be very available, though, given that they're signed to longish contracts but don't really fit with the youth movement.

I think Pachulia would be a decent addition to our bench. I dunno how well him and Freeland would work together once Freeland returned, but we could cross that bridge when we get to it. At 5.2 a year for this year an the next 2, and with Henson and Sanders on board, I imagine Milwaukee wouldn't hesitate to move him.

Yes...we not only have 1st rounders, we have multiple 1st round lottery picks.

    Leonard and McCullom.

Call 1-800- GOT-PICK for your trade scenarios. Ask for Neil.

The Blazers aren't going to trade CJ, Meyers or TRob. CJ is just looking too good. Thomas and Meyers are too gifted physically to walk away from at this point. The team as a whole isn't ready for a fine tune move that would give up assets and maybe get them to the 2nd round.

I agree, I have been saying Pachulia would be good for a while now. Pachulia is one if not the only true back to the basket center left in the NBA.

In Pachulia's home country, his nickname is Gesundheit.

When the natives hear anyone say Pachulia! they say Gesundheit!

I don't think we will. First, we really don't have any assets. Second, our window is just opening. Third, any of our assets we would trade would be undervalued because they still have upside.

I think this year has been a pleasant surprise. I think Olshey was looking to next year or the year after for the team to really come together. We won't have a first round pick, but I think we'll be able to sign a nice bench player or two with the MLE and vet min.

My thoughts, exactly. This team is doing better than any of us anticipated (well, except for Mags, God bless his rose-colored glasses). Make the playoffs, get some experience as to what that's all about, and then add the missing ingredients over the summer.

I guess the only thing that I can think of that would make sense right now would be getting a vet off waivers, or maybe signing Camby, if he's ready to go after the break, as an extra big now that Freeland's down. I could see clearing room for a move like that by waiving Claver.

Rockets had to move TRob, wasn't because of his play, they had to pay Howard and move whatever they could to do it. Sac was dysfunctional as usual, they walked away from how many coaches? Seattle-Sac-Seattle-Sac..they didn't even know where they'd be. TRob has his first real job in the NBA now and I'm glad we got him

And this is fine with me. I'm enjoying our success, our growing pains, and watching our development.

    Go Blazers!

right so the teams walked away from T Rob for a better situation, at least in their thinking. I was responding to a comment that said that both Meyers and Robinson were too gifted athletically to move right now. Just saying two teams have already and if a better opportunity comes up and we have to move them then we should take it.

Yup, and the Kings dealt him for Patrick Patterson and Toney Douglas. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat if we could.
