...I wish he'd learn to handle himself better. ...he might in for a rude awakening; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/...st-overall-pick_n_4790896.html?ncid=webmail10
very self confident isn't he....he should be praying that the Texans draft him, he is no dummy, having Andre Johnson and Adrian Foster is a hell of a duo to go to instead of Jacksonville
You just know that once in the NFL that somebody is going to take GREAT pleasure in knocking him on his ass
...no question that he's talented and I don't blame him for wanting to go to the Texans because it would be a good fit, especially since Schaub has fallen from grace... but I'd just like like the kid to show a little humility, at least until he's actually proven his college talent will transcend to the NFL. ...not saying he'll fail, but we've seen a lot of QBs who simply could not adjust to the difference in the speed of the game going from college to the pros.
...yeah, I'm sure someone will nail him and tell him "welcome to the NFL". He's not a big guy either and probably could use a few extra pounds...plus some of the guys he'll be facing on defense will be nearly as fast as him...and he better get acquainted with the slide move.
...oh hell, there have been many many QBs that were busts once they came to the NFL...Ryan Leaf comes to mind, not to mention JaMarcus Russell who my Raiders drafted.
I'm on the younger side and don't remember him playing/entering the draft and how his attitude was... was he cocky too? Or were you referring to not meeting expectations?
did he really have great expectations? I was too young to remember. the only thing I remember about flutie is the hail mary. Was he that big of a star at BC and nation wide or did the hail mary put him out there for everyone to remember him by?
Johnny Man isn't short of balls, wasn't Tarkenton like that also coming into the league? He was never short on confidence.
