Rudy thrives pretty much anywhere as long as Sergio is the guy feeding him the ball.

American PG's have never played European ball and just don't have that loose let's have fun style of play ingrained in them.

He was good as a rookie shooting nearly 40% from three but by year 3 and 4 was shooting 32% so compared to his hype he sucked.

In addition to his terrible defense.

Rudy had his chance when Roy went down. Zero heart.

He played just like Batum does now. Rudy is starter-quality in the NBA.

yeah Rudy most def should have been awesome in a no motion, iso offense, that TOTALLY is a strength of his. Just plug and play yo.

He was just fine in that offense as a rookie.

you said he should have taken over when Roy went down. Roy and Rudy's game had no similarities to speak of. My point was it wasnt just plug and play Rudy in Roy's spot, and get the same result

He sneakally shot a high 3 pt %, but would not have been just fine replacing Roy and his league-star game.

When I said Rudy is starter-quality, I was thinking of a non-McMillan, Stotts-like system, not the Roy system.
