Joakim Noah has had great individual success, making another All-Star Game, despite a trying season in which Derrick Rose was lost to injury and the Chicago Bulls made a financial move in trading away close teammate Luol Deng.

Noah remains optimistic of the Bulls chances of one day winning a title with him and Rose as the core pieces.

‘‘My ultimate goal is to win a championship,’’ he said. ‘‘I believe we’re going to win a championship in Chicago — and I want to win it with Derrick Rose. That’s the ultimate goal, and I’m going to do everything I can to put us in a position to play in those big games. And when our time will come, whenever that is, it’ll be the best party in the world.’’

    Good for Jo.

If I had to bet, I'd say it looks like the Bulls are going to bring over Mirotic this offseason, amnesty Boozer, and use remaining cap space to find unpolished diamonds in the veteran's minimum scrap heap.

Maybe try and make a splash on draft day or package together some pieces for one more piece.

Of course it's hard to project how good Mirotic is going to be. Somewhere between "decent" and "All Star" most likely.
