That doesn't seem like a very reliable source.

I'm a Huge Big O fan. but MJ was better, his rings alone put him ahead and he was a solid defender as well. robertson is very underated tho. He is imo #2 or #3 all time.

AI gets a ton of steals, but he is a poor defender. Steals dont automatically equal great defense. And yes, people have seen tapes, and it is anonymous that Jordan was the much better defender.

Oscar Robertson was a STRONG defender. He was one of the best guards at playing position defense. He was much stronger than Jordan, although Jordan is probably more talented, Big O did more with his talents. He would have still averaged 10+ rebounds in the 90's, I don't know why everybody here says it was "so tough" in the 90's, it wasn't, especially when compared to Oscar's era.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (The White T-Mac @ Oct 23 2006, 04:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>at both of their scoring peaks, Jordan only scored 6 more PPG. Oscar could rebound better AND pass better. He averaged a triple double. Why isnt he better?</div>Pace, my brotha, pace.Oscar's stats in his best season, prorated to today's pace, are 23.6 ppg, 8.7 apg, 7.6 rpg that's damned good. But it's not Jordan good. And that's his best seasonOscar's career stats, prorated to today, are: 19.6 ppg, 7.2 apg, 4.6 rpg And that's just adjusting for pace. When players play on teams averaging 120 ppg their stats tend to go up.So now that we have established that oscar's stats actually pale in comparison to MJ's, then we factor in MJ's 6 rings and 5 MVPs and it's a pretty easy decision
