I think he is, but not judging from this game. although those satats are pretty dang impressive for only 28 minutes. he started to play alot better at the end of last year and should really benefit from having speedy claxton in town.

He put up some unbelieveable games in the last 2 months of the season. I hope he blows up and proves all the draft-day-doubters wrong. I don't think anyone in the league puts up his all around numbers. If he can figure out his shot he's nearly impossible to stop.

he was actually shooting pretty well at the end of the season. I was really impressed by him in the last month of the season last year, he really made strides. There were two knocks on him on draft day: his shot and attitude, both of which have improved. I'm rooting for him this year.

I am expecting big things out of him this year. Like Dogma has previously said, his shooting made improvement by leaps and bounds towards the end of last season. His three point shot became more consistent, his rebounding on both the offensive and defensive end were superb, his shot blocking was great, and his attitude improved as well. Now that he has a real PG in town, he is going to be even better. For alot of last year, he was splitting time with Josh Childress. That just wont be the case this season since he has clearly shown he is far better than Childress. He should have a great season.

For months I've been saying this guy is underated..I hope he proves himself this year, and continues where he left off last year. He was consistently making 3 pointers, and he kept on playing great defense. What really stood out to me was his assists, he was putting up assist numbers like he was a PG. He's made huge strides to improve his all-around game, and he will be rewarded with a starting position..He had all the athletic ability coming into the draft, but he just needed to put the pieces together, and he has done that..Forget Childress, his time in Atlanta is limited..Josh Smith is the future; and hes a big part of our future..

He did improve in almost every aspect of his game last season, one part about his game I'd like to see more of is his aggresiveness. I think he could grab a lot more rebounds than he does...he's so athletic I just think he could use that a lot more to his advantage.
