You are the one has no sense of reality. You only look at the now, not the past offseason issues like RR7 clearly pointed out. And as you said "hindsight is 20/20" which proves my point.

That comment is so far off base as to be....'baffling'. I addressed the off-season issues and look at things very much from a big picture versus one game or knee jerk. I've had the good fortune and opportunity to speak with GM's face to face and have long-term vs immediate return discussions that were very fascinating.

Happy to discuss what I posted that was so uniquely 'Now' oriented. Please link/quote.

Philly also gets a 2nd rounder to go with Granger's ending contract. How many picks will they and Boston have over the next few years?

Brilliant reload start by both the Celtics and the 6ers

Indy is the big winner today. Turner is a good player. It just shows that Philly would have accepted a pile of shit for those two players.

    That makes zero sense.

Hawes and Turner were both expiring.

But they weren't going to take what we had to offer, they didn't want to take on any additional salary for next year.

BTW, I'd like Adam Silver to say in front of a mic again that teams in the NBA don't tank after seeing what Philly did today

We don't know what they would and would not take. I personally have no idea if Neil called the Sixers. We also don't know that a third team couldn't have been involved to get the 2nd rounders that they sought. Who knows. I'm just saying that they took a huge pile of nothing for those two players.

I'm hoping the quiet day for the Blazers today means big moves in the offseason.

I don't think Neil is going to sit on his hands. I also think he's not going to make a trade just to make a trade.

I view him as someone that will be looking for the HR

Traded a lot of young assets to land Chris Paul. I wonder if he is looking to strike again.

    I want to say yes.

I think we need a third star. We currently don't have anyone even close to being a third star. Batum is a role player. Wes is a role player. I think Neil knows this.

I'm looking over the reference post and I don't see anywhere that "in the know" is referred to or implied in the least. Just mentioned that I had the good fortune of getting the chance to speak with a couple of GMs in a 1-on-1 basis and it was fascinating. Nothing more. Anything else inferred from that has nothing to do with the post....or 'gawd'. :D
